Biography
Edward Lytener was a male human who lived in the modern age and grew up to be a scientist that worker at LexCorp.
Whilst in prison, he managed to gather enough technological parts to craft a light manipulating device for himself. With it, he was able to make himself or others invisible to the naked eye. Thus, when a helicopter came on a supply run, Lytener used his machine to go invisible whereupon he knocked out the guard and confiscated the chopper that he also made invisible to make his escape. After being frees, he set up a base at an old LexCorp communication facility that he cloaked through his light bending technology and crafted an advanced suit for himself.

Powers and abilities
As Luminus, he developed a whole range of abilities that utilised light. Through the proper use of lasers, he was able to make his holograms solid allowing them to attack with physical force.
