- Nathan Stark was created by Andrew Cosby and Jaime Paglia where he was portrayed by actor Ed Quinn and featured in the setting of the Eureka universe.
- The character was modelled on Tony Stark from Marvel Comics observing that Andrew Cosby, the creator of Eureka, was also the co-founder of independent comic book publisher Boom! Studios and an Iron Man fan.
