Biography

Origin

Rose as the Ravager in Teen Titans v3 #57.

Rose Wilson was a female human who was born the daughter of Slade Wilson and a Cambodian woman named Sweet Lili. At the time, Wilson was divorced from his wife Adeline Kane and he was on a mission to make sure that Lili escaped the warn-torn country. During this time, the two had a brief affair in the trek to Thailand with Lili having a daughter though Slade was unaware of this fact. (Deathstroke the Terminator v1 #15)

Ravager

In the search for Jericho, Rose took on the identity of Ravager to be her fathers partner as they looked for the whereabouts of Raven. This saw them torturing and killing members of the Church of Blood. (Teen Titans v3 #9)

Whilst with the Teen Titans, she resided at Titans Tower and once shared a room with Miss Martian for two days. During this time, Miss Martian threw a pie at Rose's face after seeing this being done as a joke on The Three Stooges. This led to Rose going on a rampage and temper tantrum where she insulted Miss Martian with profanity which left the Green Martian crying as a result. Afterwards, Miss Martian believed that joining the Teen Titans was a mistake and left the group. (Teen Titans v3 #39)

When Batgirl foiled Penguin’s arms deal with the Brotherhood of Evil she damaged his standing in the Society. In response, Penguin met with Luthor, Dr. Psycho and Calculator demanding they help him take down Batgirl once and for all. He said Deathstroke was clearly the man for the job, and Deathstroke considered his proposal. Batgirl was the protector of Bludhaven, so Deathstroke started a fire at a business owned by neighborhood couple the Braunsteins. Batgirl investigated and Deathstroke snapped Mrs. Braunstein’s neck in front of her. Deathstroke and Batgirl fought across Bludhaven, and Batgirl could sense he was toying with her. Deathstroke admitted as much, and introduced his daughter Ravager to Batgirl, saying he was saving-the killing blow for her. Ravager was incredibly skilled, but during their fight Batgirl realized how inexperienced she was and temporarily knocked her out. Batgirl saw a lot of herself in Ravager, since both their fathers raised them to be killers. Deathstroke had not interfered in the fight and did not retaliate when Batgirl called him pathetic for what he had done to his daughter. Ravager recovered where she promised her father she would not fail him, and pursued Batgirl, who truly felt for her because it was obvious everything she did was to win her father’s approval. Batgirl fled to an underground tunnel system, not wanting any onlookers to get hurt when Ravager caught up to her. Ravager soon found her, with Deathstroke still observing. During the fight Batgirl staid on the defensive and waited for Ravager to look to her father for approval and took the opportunity to disarm her. Batgirl used Ravager’s own sword to stab her in the throat, forcing Deathstroke to save his daughter and get her emergency medical treatment. Batgirl knew their fight was far from over, and that Deathstroke would force Ravager to complete her test and go after Batgirl again one day. (Batgirl I #64)

An army of Earth's heroes, including Ravager and the Teen Titans, appeared to take Superboy-Prime down during the Sinestro Corps invasion of Earth. The heroes focused on wrecking his armor, because after a year on Oa, and away from a yellow sun his Kryptonian body still wasn't at full strength, and his armor collected sunlight. Superboy bragged that once the sun rose on Earth he'd be at full power. Superboy was battered by Wonder Girl and Wonder Woman, who blamed him for Superboy's death, as well as Supergirl and Power Girl, who blamed him for the death of the Superman of Earth-2. As the fight went against him, Superboy broke down in tears. He tried to wipe them away, saying that it was impossible for boys to cry, and then whining that no one ever thanked him for sacrificing his Earth to save the multiverse. The battle lasted until dawn, and he flew into the sunrise. As he achieved full power he declared himself the one, true Superman. The Guardians arrived with Sodam Yat, the new Ion, and pitted him against Superboy-Prime. (Tales of the Sinestro Corps: Superman-Prime v1 #1)

She later decided to leave the ranks of the Teen Titans. (Teen Titans v3 #71)

Upon finding her mother alive, she went about starting her search for her. (Teen Titans v3 #88)

Post-Flashpoint

Following the Flashpoint, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events. Xia (Glory of the Sunrise) (Deathstroke v4 #9)

At some point, she came to be an operative for N.O.W.H.E.R.E. where she was assigned as a handler for Superboy. (Superboy v6 #1)

As a young adult, she began to work as a bouncer and as a mercenary where she used her precognitive abilities in the field. Rose accepted contracts that prevented other hitmen from carrying out their jobs with this earning her father Slade's disdain. (Deathstroke v4 #3)

She later came to participate in the tournament headed by the League of Lazarus where she travelled to Lazarus Island for the fight amongst the best fighters in the world. (Robin v3 #1)

After losing track of Damian, she decided to send a message to Nightwing and the other members of the Batfamily that had bee Robin to help him. It was in that time that Rose also met with Respawn who killed her with her death being the last one before the Lazarus Tournament could officially begin. Mother Soul then had her resurrected so that she could formally take part in the fighting tournament. (Robin v3 #4)

Overview

Personality and attributes

A distinctive feature was her white hair making her resemble her father. (Deathstroke the Terminator v1 #15) After joining her father, she decided to take the guise of a costumed supervillain where she went by the name of Ravager. (Teen Titans v3 #8)

Initially, Slade claimed that he had no place in his life for a daughter. (Deathstroke v1 #48) She wanted to make her father proud and did not wish to fail him like her siblings had done so. (Teen Titans v3 #9)

Wonder Girl believed Rose to be harsh, arrogant and virtually uncontrollable. (Teen Titans v3 #88)

Powers and abilities

Ravager in Deathstroke v4 #3.

She found out that epinephrine came to enhance her ESP abilities. (Teen Titans v3 #71)

As a result of her fathers blood, Rose had a limited form of precognitive vision. The ability was not always active as it came and went but was an advantage in fights as it allowed her to counter an enemy’s move. (Teen Titans v3 #11) This was the result of her enhanced mind cataloguing an infinite number of details and assembling this information into a highly accurate probability assessment. (Deathstroke v4 #10)
