Super-Katalyst 566

Super-Katalyst 566 was a katalyst developed by Megakat Biochemical Labs. It was stolen by Dr. Harley Street and his fellow Ci-Kat-A, several former convicts and one former Enforcer, Gray Taylor, for their ally Dr. Viper. Upon getting the katalyst, Viper betrayed the Ci-Kat-A, using it to turn them into monstrous insects under his control. Street was turned into a giant black scarab while Taylor and the convicts became giant grub worms.
