The Turelim are a vampiric clan that features in the Legacy of Kain.

History
The Turelim were a clan of vampies of Nosgoth that were descended from Turel who was one of the lieutenants of Kain. Their territory was chosen as the perfect site for the construction of the first smokestacks. These contained huge volcanic furnaces that were built to block out the sun allowing the vampires to shield their fledglings from the deadly affects of sunlight. The patriarch of the clan who was Turel believed himself the true heir of Kain and thus the leader of the Vampire Council. This belief only heightened after Raziel's execution at the hands of Kain for his blasphemous evolution. However, his brethren in the Council were quick to oppose him and resulted in the Turelim moving to secure their Lieutenant-patriarch's will. The clan proved to be the loudest voice that called for the purge of the Razielim which they believed was their sacred duty. Turel believed as Kain's successor he had the right to the spoils of the Razielim's territory. However, the other Lieutenants would challenge this claim which Turel saw as an unforgivable offence which was why the Tyrants of the Turelim began attacking any of the clans that challenged their patriarch's claim to the leadership of the Council. This period of inter-fighting only ended when mankind staged an open insurrection against the vampires that ruled Nosgoth. It was the Turelim that would readily call for a truce with the other clans that included the surviving Razielim whereupon they placed their Tyrant warrior at the vanguard of the vampire legions.
Overview
Nascent fledgling Turelim subconsciously used their latent telekinetic powers to augment their already impressive physiques. This allowed them to develop truly inhuman feats of speed an strength. Clan Turelim were noted for being the most dutiful of the vampire legions. They reveled in ruling through force and fear with them reveling in these traits as being natural which was why they took pride in such feelings. The Turelim had an innate pride that the other clans saw as arrogance though this stemmed from their belief in the role they played in the creation of the era of vampire domination and were especially of their part in it.
Certain warriors of the clan were referred to as Tyrants that were powerful muscular warriors. They prized themselves as the best soldiers of the vampire legions and believed in concepts such as honor as well as glory. These members of Clan Turelim often served as the vanguard of the vampire forces and had a rivalry with the Reavers of Clan Dumahim.
In the years following Raziel's return, the clan had devolved in a manner similar to the other vampire clans. They became more beastial in appearance with large ears that made their hearing especially sensitive and also made them vulnerable to sound. Turelim also had large claws though they retained human clothing except they often sported bare chests. They were notable for being dangerous in close combat and quite dangerous foes who favored powerful strikes and fast movements. Turelim were difficult to stun and even when stunned only suffered this effect for a short time.
