Planet Vegeta is a planet that features in Dragon Ball.

History

Planet Plant (Japanese: 惑星プラント, Hepburn: Wakusei Puranto) a planet in the universe that was home to the Tuffles civilization of humanoids. Long ago, their world was visited by the war-like Saiyans under King Vegeta who had led his people after the destruction of their original homeworld of Planet Sadala (サダラ Sadara) in a period of strife among his people. Arriving on Planet Plant, they came to conquer it and eliminate the native Tuffles whereupon they renamed the world Planet Vegeta (惑星ベジータ Wakusei Bejīta) that was the new home of their people.

The planet and all but a handful of Saiyans (not to mention quite a few of Frieza's own warriors) were destroyed by Frieza with a huge Death Ball when he began perceiving them as a threat.
