History

At some point, Shogo Shimazaki was badly wounded by parties within Japan that intended to kill the foreign minister due to his pro-capitalist thinking. Before he died, he was met by Apos who informed him of the identities of his killers and offered him one of the time spores. Its effects led to Shogo being transformed into an "angel" who overcame his instincts in order to hunt down his killers for revenge. After seeing a badly wounded Rin regenerate, Mimi explained to Koki Maeno the abilities of a Time Fruit. Shogo's activities drew the attention of Rin who eventually uncovered the existence of "angel". She eventually confronted the now inhuman Shogo and killed him where she took the Time Fruit from his dead body. At that time, an apparition of Apos arrived intending to claim the time spore but Rin instead gave it to Koki Maeno who in turn gave it to Shogo's sister, Yuzi Shimazaki. (Episode: Angels Don't Cry)

Overview

These small hand held spherical objects were capable of being placed within the Human body where they had notably different effects on the two separate genders. Women that were exposed to the Time Fruit were made immortal and able to live for countless years whilst their bodies regenerated any wounds sustained no matter how serious. Whilst women were made immortals, men exposed to the time spores became beastial beings that were referred to as "angels". These creatures resembled normal Humans but were able to change into a more vampiric form and had two red pairs of wings that emerged from the skin on their back. An "angel" was driven by its instincts namely to find a woman infected with a time spore. Such individuals experienced lust whilst in the presence of an "angel" no matter what their feelings were with the two embracing in passion. During the embrace, the male "angel" began to devour the body of the female who served as food for the former. Only those strong of will were partially able to resist this instinct and replace it with other feelings such as those of revenge. Female immortals of strong character were able to kill the monstrous "angel" in such moments. Once killed, the male "angel" reverted to their former personality whereupon their bodies disintegrate into white ash that left a red blood filled Time Fruit. (Episode: Angels Don't Cry)
