The arachno-claw was a species of giant insect native to Skull Island. It lived at the bottom of a deep gorge bridged by a fallen log. When Carl Denham, Jack Driscoll and their party were shaken from the log by King Kong, the arachno-claws were among the giant creatures that ate the bodies of those who died in the fall.
