Turmoil

Turmoil was a mysterious villainess who arrived over the skies of Megakat City, with a simple demand: either the city officials paid her an exorbitant mount of money - $2 million dollars in gold - or she would prevent anyone from flying the skies of the city. She was quite capable of doing as she threatened, for not only did she have a massive, flying aircraft carrier, the Sky-Lion, dozens of underlings, and her own squadron of all-female fighter pilots (the Omega Squadron), Turmoil also had in her possession a most unique weapon, a device dubbed the Vertigo Beam.

She nearly caused a commercial airline to crash with the device, but with some help from the Swat Kats, the pilot of the airliner regained his senses and was able to make a safe landing. Lt. Felina Feral flew up in her chopper and demanded that Turmoil surrender. The Vertigo Beam was turned onto Lt. Feral, but she was saved by the Swat Kats. Turmoil sent the Omega Squadron to take out the Turbokat, but master pilot T-Bone was able to easily evade all of their pitiful attempts, which impressed Turmoil, and she even began to fall in love with him. She was able to capture the Turbokat, with T-Bone in it, but T-Bone was able to eject Razor - who had passed out from the effects of the Vertigo Beam - at the last second.

Once on board the Sky-Lion, T-Bone was presented with an offer by Turmoil: either he become her second-in-command, or she kills him. He seemed to agree, and was given a flight commander's uniform bearing Turmoil's insignia, but before he could be fully trusted, T-Bone would have to prove his loyalty by killing Razor. Of course, it was all a ruse so that he could plant remote detonators all over Turmoil's ship, and his plan worked. The ship was destroyed, along with the Vertigo Beam, and Turmoil arrested and sent to Alkatraz. However, her feelings for T-Bone have reportedly gone unchanged.

Comments

  • Turmoil was slated to make a second appearance in an episode entitled Turmoil 2: The Revenge before the show was cancelled, in which she would have escaped from Alkatraz. In the script for the unfinished episode, Turmoil and her entire imprisoned crew escape from Alkatraz and retreat to her mountaintop base, the Cloud Fortress. Gaining control of the Mega-Beam, she uses it to melt the Megakat Tower as well as Old Megakat Bridge, demanding a hefty ransom in exchange for no further "demonstrations," with the caveat that the ransom be delivered by T-Bone. He complied, and was quickly turned into Turmoil's mindless slave using a mind control device called the Crown of Obedience. It was thus up to Razor and a recently repaired Cybertron to storm the Cloud Fortress and sever Turmoil's control of the Mega-Beam - and of T-Bone. They succeeded at both. After the destruction of the Cloud Fortress, Turmoil angrily threw a grenade at T-Bone, only for him to knock it away. The resulting explosion created a huge avalanche. Although the SWAT Kats and Cybertron survived, Turmoil was swept off a cliff to her death.
