Earth-0

"Earth-0" is a recreation of "Earth-Sigma", created at the Big Bang through the efforts of several heroes in Zero Hour. It is the most important hypertimeline, and is also known by some as the "Central Timeline." Among its more notable differences from the prior universe was the total "reboot" of the Legion of Super-Heroes' history. Those characters who were present at the Big Bang continue to remember "Earth-Sigma."

Theoretically, all the contradictions of "Earth-Sigma" have been ironed out. Unfortunately, DC history defies ironing at this point, and new contradictions have appeared. The designation "Earth-0," a reference to its origins in Zero Hour, was coined by Jonathan Woodward of the Annotated Crisis site.
