Biography
Guldo (Japanese: グルド, Hepbur: Gurudo) was the smallest member of the Ginyu Force. Guldo was a green-skinned member of the Bas race. Despite his tiny size, he was very powerful, and had the ability to freeze time at will for as long as he could hold his breath (an attack known as Time Freeze).
Guldo was the first of the Ginyu Force to fight against Gohan and Krillin, and his only shortcoming in the battle was his slow reflexes; he was unprepared for the Earthlings’ speed and had trouble keeping up with them. He was forced to continually freeze time to avoid their swift attacks. Guldo eventually had to resort to using his Mind Freeze technique, freezing Gohan and Krillin in place with the power of his mind. He was moments from killing them both when Vegeta stepped in an cut off his head. Guldo’s severed head lived long enough to curse Vegeta, before the Saiyan destroyed it.
In the Other World, Guldo joined up with the rest of the Ginyu Force to go to King Kai's planet. There, the Z Warriors slain by Vegeta and Nappa defeated them all and sent them down to Hell (HFIL). The Ginyu Force teamed up briefly with Frieza, King Cold, and Cell in an attempt to take over Hell, but they were stopped by Goku and Pikkon. He remains imprisoned there to this day.
