Yofune-Nushi

Yofune-Nushi was a sea serpent from Japanese legend which demanded a maiden as tribute every June 13th. He was slain by one of his proposed sacrifices, a volunteer girl named Tokoyo, who blinded the beast with a dagger and then slew it.
