- Lord of the Rings: c. 5122 BC (III 1940). Gondor and Arnor form an alliance after communications are restored between the two kingdoms. Arvedui of Arthedain marries Princess Firiel of Gondor. (The Return of the King)
- Lord of the Rings: c. 5118 BC (III 1944). The Wainriders attack Gondor with the armies of Khand and [Harad] by their side. In the resulting battle, Ondoher, king of Gondor and father of Firiel, dies with his two sons. Earnil II defeats the invaders at southern Ithilien.
