Scott Ronald Garland (born July 2, 1970) is an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name, Scotty 2 Hotty. He is best known for his appearances with World Wrestling Federation and World Wrestling Entertainment. He is the part of the stable Too Cool with LL Cool J and Rikishi. He had been on Smackdown for his entire career and he is been succesfully winning fans and championships. Scotty is two times WWF Light Heavyweight Championship, three times WWF/WWE Tag Team Championship with Grand Master Sexay, Rikishi and Albert. Scotty 2 Hotty is been a lot of matches for the Cruiserweight Championship, but he wasn't success to win the title. He also lost a lot of macthes for the United States Championship. He retired and he get out of the WWE for losing.

When approximately 14 or 15 years old, Garland wrote to Sue Aitchison, the Community Relations Specialist of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), inquiring from which professional wrestling school the WWF recruited the majority of their employees. Aitchison responded by telling him that they did not recruit from any particular school and wishing him luck. Garland then attempted to telephone WWF Chairman Vince McMahon, but was unable to speak to McMahon himself.[6][8]
Garland began attending WWF shows at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, Maine, helping the WWF ring crew to construct the wrestling ring.[6] After an independent promoter saw Garland wrestling with his friends, he offered Garland a job.[6] In his first match, Garland wrestled Steve Ramsey in a Portland armory on November 23, 1989, the same night as Survivor Series.[6][9][10]
In the same year, Garland began wrestling for the Massachusetts-based New England Wrestling. Between August 19, 1989 and November 4, 1993, Garland won the NEW Tag Team Championship on two occasions with Steve Ramsey and the NEW Heavyweight Championship on five occasions, feuding with wrestlers such as Rick Fuller. In August 1991, Garland was introduced to the World Wrestling Federation by NEW wrestler Phil Apollo
