  • As the Paragon, she was created by Len Wein, David Kraft and Herb Trimpe where he made his first appearance in Incredible Hulk Annual v1 #6 (1977).

  • In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, Ayesha appeared in the live-action film set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe where she was portrayed by actor Elizabeth Debicki. She was a leader within the Sovereign race that were a golden-skinned genetically perfected people that emerged from pods with them being made for designated roles. Their kind valued genetics and perfection with them taking offence at acts of disrespect that were punishable by death. Their homeworld of Sovereign was under attack from an interdimensional monster and rather than risk their people she hired the Guardians of the Galaxy to stop the beast from attempting to feast on their Anulax Batteries. After the completion of their task, she paid them for their services by giving them the captive Nebula who had been captured by the Sovereign but Rocket ended up stealing some of the batteries. As a result, the Sovereign dispatched their drone fleet to pursue the Guardians and even hired Yondu's Ravagers faction. The Sovereign drones later arrived on Ego's Planet where they attacked the Guardians only to be defeat. The defeat caused some in the leadership to be displeased with the High Priestess but she promised to sate their anger as a new pod creating a new more perfect specimen of their race that she decided to name Adam.
