  • In Supergirl, H'ronmeer was first referenced in the live-action television series in the episode "The Martian Chronicles". The White Martian Armek vowed to satisfy the god of death H'ronmeer by watering his wife Miss Martian's blood over the desiccated plains of T'ozz on Mars. Green Martian beliefs held that the god H'ronmeer had two sons named Phobos and the other Deimos. He offered them two gifts with one being the book of sacred symbols that were a set of morals that govern Martian life and the other being the Staff of Kolar which was a psychic weapon. Deimos chose the symbols but Phobos chose the staff which angered H'ronmeer who was disappointed that one of his sons chose a weapon. Thus, he banished Phobos to the underworld where he had children that were said to had become the White Martians. M'yrnn J'onzz was a Green Martian high religious leader and a prime servant of H'ronmeer with him being entrusted with the staff that was a powerful psychic weapon.
