History
The Tornado Twins were twins Don Allen and Dawn Allen both of whom were the direct descendants of Barry Allen who was the superhero speedster known as the Flash. (Adventure Comics v1 #373)
Overview
In appearance, the Tornado Twins were a pair of brother and sister. They were known to sometimes wear yellow costumes that resembled that of Kid Flash. The Twins gene patterns being similar to their ancestor Barry Allen meant that superspeed could be gifted to them. With the speed of the Flash, they could achieve many of the feats of their ancestor in that they could run incredibly fast, vibrate through walls, create super-speed wind currents to becoming cyclone winds and other similar feats. Television
- In Young Justice, the Tornado Twins appeared in the setting of the animated television series starting from the episode "Bloodlines". They were the children of Barry Allen and Iris West-Allen with them inheriting their fathers super-speed. Don's son was Bart Allen who travelled from the Reach-dominated future into the present to prevent his timeline from coming to pass. After succeeding, he remained in the present where he helped care for his toddler aged father and aunt.
