History
The S-Men were a team of superhumans that were brought together by the Red Skull to wage a war against Mutants. He intended to use the fear of Mutants to unite all of humanity on Earth into an eternal Reich under his rule. (Uncanny Avengers v1 #2)
They later struck at the grave site of Professor Xavier in order to attack Rogue and the Scarlet Witch with the two being captured as a result. (Uncanny Avengers v1 #1) Taken to the Red Skulls base, Wanda Maximoff was brought to their leader who intended to use her abilities to purge the planet of Mutants. (Uncanny Avengers v1 #2)
Overview
In appearance, the S-Men were a team of superpowered individuals brought together to wage a war against Mutants. (Uncanny Avengers v1 #2)
A common factor among the team was that many of its members had suffered at the hands of Mutants and claimed their lives were ruined as a result. Mutants were seen as the ultimate foreign invader and thus needed to be exterminated. (Uncanny Avengers v1 #2)
They were based at a secret facility maintained by the Red Skull which he considered to be a school for gifted humans. It included a multiregional training facility that could replicate different environments. (Uncanny Avengers v1 #2)

- Goat-Faced Girl : a goat-faced woman who had the power of neutralising the abilities of anyone around her. (Uncanny Avengers v1 #1)
- Dancing Water : the daughter of Dominikos Petrakis aka Avalanche where she came to be transformed into a being of living water and could manipulate water as well as teleport through it. (Uncanny Avengers v1 #2)
- The Insect : a man who could transform into a monstrous green-skinned insect form who could kill people with a strike from his pincer that could inject an enemy with his Cassandra Toxin. (Uncanny Avengers v1 #1)
- Mzee : a man who lived in a village in Ethiopia that came under attack from Magneto's followers where he survived in an oil drum but heard the death of his people at the hands of Mutants. At some point, he came to be transformed into a tortoise-like being of incredible power. (Uncanny Avengers v1 #2)
- Honest John, The Living Propaganda :
- Living Wind : a bat-like female whose power over the Living Wind allowed her to direct air and wind at her enemies. (Uncanny Avengers v1 #1)
