History
The Knights Templar were a secret society on Earth that consisted of descendants of the medieval order of the Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon. They came to serve as the bankers of the Illuminati where they backed them up by their large gold supplies. Thus, they and by proxy the Illuminati were the controlling influence behind most of the world's financial institutions where they manoeuvred the global economy on behalf of their partners.
During the rise of Majestic 12, the Templars as an organization was destroyed by a combined Interpol and United Nations Anti-Terrorist Coalition with this force being led by Joseph Manderly.
Overview
In appearance, the Knights Templar were a secret society that operated hidden from the modern world. They believed themselves to be a devout modern incarnation of the ancient Knights Templar that were a brotherhood of knights formed after the Crusades.
Their base of operations was in Paris.
