Brian Bromley
Brian Bromley was a young boy who lived in the town of Sutton. He survived the rampage of the first Slime Beast. Years later, as an adult, he became a wildfowling guide. He married a woman named Mary and they had two children, Callum and Sara. Bromley never forgot the horror of the first Slime Beast's attack, and when Callum and Sara found the remains of a recently hatched egg in the sea, he began to fear that a second monster was afoot and stalking the Wash. He cancelled a planned trip to guide wildfowlers Frank Forman and George Scott on a hunting trip, much to the two men's annoyance. When the two men went without him anyway and vanished, Bromley feared the worst. Finding their Range Rover but no sign of them, he realized that he was right and that a second Slime Beast was on the prowl. Arming himself with a shotgun, he teamed up with Gavin Royle, another survivor of the first monster's rampage, as well as Superintendent Waller and his police force, to hunt down and slay the new creature. They tracked it to Josh Bingham's farm during a storm. Although they arrived to late to save Daisy the cow, they were able to save Bingham himself, and the Slime Beast ended up being killed by a bolt of lightning.
