Biography
Kassa was a male human born a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Originally, he was from the planet Kenari where he was a young boy part of a small tribe of youths alongside his little sister Kerri. Their people lived in the jungles of their world and witnessed its deforested ruins that were being caused by massive mining operations. Kassa was noted to had lost his mother at a tender young age and his life was filled with constant battle. In this time, the Galactic Republic was embroiled in the final years of the Clone Wars with the young Kassa having served as a revolutionary since he was 6 years old. When he was 9 years old, a vessel from the Republic crashed near his village with Kassa wanting to join the party of youths looking to investigate the wreckage. Some of his peers wanted to exclude the boy but the group leader allowed Kassa to join them where he donned camouflage markings as they went to the crash site. Each member of the party were armed with a blowgun where they trekked the jungle to the crash. The group leader came to be killed by the lone survivor of the transport who was armed with a blaster. In response, the party shot poison darts at them whilst they carried their leaders body away. A shocked Kassa stayed behind and went inside the vessel where he took his frustration on the equipment inside. He was then confronted by a trio of scavengers including Maarva Andor and her husband Clem along with their droid B2EMO who had entered the ship to salvage the technology. Confronted Kassa, Maarva Andor decided she did not want to leave the boy behind in danger for anyone else looking to recover the ship. Thus, she decided to forcibly taken Kassa off-world where she came to adopt him. In the aftermath, Kassa found himself on the planet Ferrix with his new adoptive parents where he was given the name Cassian Jeron Andor. All official records came to state his planet of origin was the world of Fest
In the years afterwards, the Clone Wars ended with the Galactic Republic being dissolved and reformed into the first Galactic Empire by former Supreme Chancellor Palpatine who declared himself Galactic Emperor. This saw the Empire moving to assert control over Ferrix, deploying a formation of clone stormtroopers under an Imperial officer. Andor and Clem stood with many other members of their community as the clones marched through their town, with Clem urging the boy to remain calm and wait for the Imperials to leave. When a few citizens began to protest and throw rocks at the soldiers, Andor was ordered by Clem to not intervene while he went to defuse the situation. The officer, however, assumed Clem was part of the demonstration, leaving Andor to watch as his adoptive father was held at gunpoint. Clem was taken away by the Imperials and hanged for his supposed defiance at Rix Road. Enraged at the execution of his father, Andor traveled to Rix Road while his father's body still hung to confront four clone stormtroopers with a baton. At some point, Andor spent time with anarchist groups that defied the Empire. Alongside the destruction of Imperial property, Andor had a charge for attacking an Imperial soldier on his record. Andor claimed that he was forced to fight for the Empire on the swampworld Mimban after leaving prison when he was sixteen years old, although when he said this to Luthen Rael.
Afterwards, he came to learn about the defection of an Imperial pilot named Bodhi Rook. From a rebel informant named Tivik, he came to learn that the Empire had developed known as the Death Star with Bodhi knowing the details of the project. At the time, Andor killed Tivik in order to avoid his capture as the man was unable to escape Imperial forces due to an injured arm.

He was known to had been fighting in the Rebellion since he was six years old.
Captain Andor commanded respect from his Rebel troops with his ability to keep a cool head under fire and complete his missions with minimal resources.

He came to be an accomplished Alliance Intelligence officer with combat field experience.
