Disney animated series which ran in syndication for two years before being replaced by Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles on ABC. A major departure from the other Disney animated series, Gargoyles is serious and mature, occasionally even dark, with a complex storyline that grew with each episode. A comic book continuing where the original series left off, published by Slave Labor Graphics, began in 2006.

Demona and one of the Hunters were intended to appear in an episode of Team Atlantis, the proposed animated series that would have followed Atlantis: The Lost Empire. However, the series was never completed.
