- Star Wars: c. 1815 (0 BBY). Prince Leia Organa is captured by the Galactic Empire, but is rescued by Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3PO and R2-D2. The Battle of Yavin is fought, and Luke Skywalker personally causes the destruction of the first Death Star. (Star Wars (A New Hope)) (See 1814 for the Star Wars dating.)
