History

A.E.G.I.S. was a federal agency established within the United States of America in the wake of the rise of superpowered beings. It was said that the government had created the organization to deal with the threat of supervillains.

With the Terror seemingly killed, the need for superheroes began to end and the local A.E.G.I.S. office was even closed down.

After the defeat of the Terror, the local A.E.G.I.S. branch was re-opened with efforts being made to organise the superhero community again. Agent Rathbone sought to also find prospective candidates for a new incarnation of the Flag Five.

Overview

It was equipped with state-of-the-art technology and had dozens of qualified agents. The agency reached out to the public to report any disturbances on 1-800-52-AEGIS.

It referred to superpowered beings as a Category with them dividing such individuals into rankings. The lowest was a Category 0 that were individuals with no superpowers. Once registered, a superhero were provided their own registration number to identify them in the organization.

Among their creations were a fleet of DB X12 craft that were boats with the ability to fly. Each were equipped with a highly advanced artificial intelligence that was designed to help the pilot.
