Biography

In Dimitri, Russia, the Abomination arrived where he was attacked by a mysterious red-skinned version of the Hulk. The pair battled where his opponent savagely beat Blonsky who was then executed with a special pistol that fired gamma-irradiated bullets. S.H.I.E.L.D. investigated the scene where they brought in Thunderbolt Ross, Doc Samson and She-Hulk to determine whether the Hulk had been responsible for the death. At that time, the Winter Guard arrived on the scene to prevent the American's from taking the body which briefly led to a fight until a survivor of the town revealed that the creature that had killed the Abomination was a Red Hulk. (Hulk v2 #1) Blonsky's remains were recovered by a mysterious group where they used stolen biological samples from the Hulk in order to recreate the Abomination. (Hulk v3 #1) The near mindless Abomination was then sent to attack and kill Bruce Banner in a town in Colorado after he was suffering from amnesia due to a gunshot wound in the head. (Hulk v3 #2)
