History

Followers of Al-Thamen.

Al-Thamen (Japanese: アル・サーメン, Hepburn: Aru.Sāmen) was a dark and mysterious organisation that operated in the world. Their origins were traced to the world before the current which was the land of Alma Torren. Originally, they were members of Solomon's resistance which sought to overthrow the Orthodox Church government of David Jehoahaz Abraham. In this time, many family members of the resistance were killed by David and the Elders but they succeeded in having Solomon replace the dark god Ill Ilah. However, many of Solomon's followers became disillusioned with existence and their fate with this leading to one of his Magi named Arba deciding to stray away from their leaders will. She assembled a group of magicians to form a rogue organization that was called the Eight-Pointed Star Fellowship which eventually became known as Al-Thamen.

One of their number named Falan travelled to the Parthevia Empire and served as the magician counsellor to one of its rulers named Barbossa. She was charged with helping Drakon claim the Dungeon of the Djinn Valefor. Despite her efforts, she was thwarted though was unharmed as she used a vessel in place of herself to enter the Dungeon. Al-Thamen through Falan and Judar also made a proposal to Princess Serendine Dikumenowlz Du Parthevia which she accepted leading to her undergoing numerous experimental treatments to fuse her body with that of a Dungeon Monster's, gaining several new abilities as a result.

Afterwards, they began inhabiting the region of the Kou Empire. At some point, the organization learnt of the birth of a Magi named Judar where they killed his parents as he was a child and took him into their ranks to serve them. Since before the formation of Sindria, a group formed that sought to oppose the activities of the organization. They never referred to themselves by name but Sinbad of Sindria and others that opposed them began calling them Al-Thamen. Around 12 years ago, members of Al-Thamen led by Ithnan travelled to the Magician's Country of Magnostadt and met its leader Matal Mogamett. Offering themselves as allies, the organization revealed the existence of Djinn and the nature of Black Rukh that could be used to make Dark Metal Vessels. The magicians of Magnostadt thus began experimenting in the creation of Dark Metal Vessels with some of their creations being given to Al-Thamen who started providing them to their non-magic users. This act infuriated Mogamett after he learnt of it as he despised normal humans and this tense state of relations led to talks between the organization and the Magician's Country breaking down with their ties being severed with one another.

Al-Thamen was responsible for bringing destruction to the nation of Balbad such as bringing it to economic ruin with similar acts being conducted all around the Earth.

They were responsible for conducting deliberate acts creating frequent onset of war, discrimination, and poverty leading to abnormalities in the world. Such events were believed by some to be a coincidence but were the result of Al-Thamens actions.

The actions of Ali Baba led to him catching the attention of the organization. It was Ali Baba combined with the emergence of a fourth Magi named Aladdin leading to them dedicating their attention towards them. This saw them conduct an unorthodox practice by their standards which was targeting the nation of Sindria or destruction. The attack was, however, a distraction as the organization had been attacking Ali Baba and his allies at a nearby dungeon in order to push him into despair so that he would be overwhelmed by negative Black Rukh to become a new Dark King.

Overview

Council.

In appearance, Al-Thamen were a secret organization of magic users that operated in the world. According to Sinbad, the group did not refer to itself by name and as called the Organization but that its enemies gave them the name Al-Thamen. Their goal was to defy fate which they did by committing atrocities and other dark deeds around the world. This goal stemmed in their desire to free themselves from destiny as they saw this as a curse and prison placed on their lives. The members of Al-Thamen were born into the world that Solomon created all seem to have some history with a particular country that they are from. The organization's influences run deep into all kinds of different countries.

Al Thamen's goal was to free themselves from what they perceive as a curse, a prison - destiny. Al Thamen's belief is that their whole life is determined by destiny; as what they describe as a process that is decided and imposed by another, and all unfair circumstances are caused by it. In order to achieve their goal, Al Thamen has created a way to 'escape' from destiny by going through the process 'Falling into Depravity'. Inflicting the process on themselves is not enough as it needs the assistance of a great quantity of black rukh which can be caused by negative emotions. In order to raise more black rukh, Al Thamen had been raising the 'Abnormalities of the World', which consists of generally making numerous numbers of people feel negative emotions through e.g. wars and poverty.

All members of Al-Thamen lived all around the world. They were actually clones who turned into a matryoshka doll after being defeated and will die only if their real body was killed. They exchanged rukh with themselves to share information, making the majority of them effective spies.

Through their power, they were able to make use of Black Rukh that was used to empower their Dark Metal Vessels. Dark Metal Vessel users sometimes were known to stab themselves with their relics. This transformed the person into a bestial and powerful Black Djinn. A second stage in the transformation could then he initiated whereby they returned to human form but had the Black Djinn equipped as weapons and armor. Black Djinn equipped warriors had various powers given to them by their artifacts such as controlling magnetism or creating shadow clones or other abilities.
