Following a scandal, Dr. Xander Zynn sold his company Humanitech Robotics Inc. with Alchemax acquisitions wing purchasing it as it was selling cheap. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #791)

A statue made of Tritium was given to Alchemax for safekeeping after it was discovered that it was being used to blackmail the city. Liz Allan decided to use the statue as a means of generating power and held a public demonstration as they intended to use it for power requirements. The demonstration was interrupted by the Goblin Nation who sought to acquire it for their own purposes but they were fought off by Spider-Man and Agent Anti-Venom. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #796)
