C.C. was born long ago at an unspecified as a human where she had an ordinary human name though much of her early history was not known. It was shown that at ten years old, she was an orphan and taken as a slave. During this time, she encountered a nun who was an immortal that gave C.C. the power of Geass. After manifesting, its usage meant that everyone around her fell in love with her leading them to showering their adoration on her and giving her gifts. In time, she grew tired of this love without limit and spent more time with the nun that gave her the power as she was the only one immune to it. Eventually, C.C.'s power manifested to its height leaving it permanently active and affecting those around her. At that point, the nun revealed that her entire reason behind giving the Geass power was for C.C. to end her immortal life. As such, she did not care about C.C. but rather used her for her own goal to escape the eternal existence she was living. After that time, C.C. gained the power of the dead nun and became an immortal where she wandered the Earth for man years. In that time, she experienced many deaths only to rise from her injuries once more with this spanning centuries. At one point, she discussed the Washington Rebellion where she spoke of George Washington and Benjamin Franklin as if she knew them personally. During her long life, C.C. stated that she had formed Geass contracts with hundreds of people. This was because like the nun before her she grew tired of living an immortal life and desired an end to it. As such, she gave the power of Geass in the hopes that like her a user would evolve to the point that they would kill C.C. thus passing her own immortality to them. At one point, she encountered Marianne li Britannia and formed a contract with her with her being given the Geass to move her mind into other bodies. With Marianne, she was involved in Charles zi Britannia's scheme to achieve the Ragnarok Connection to eliminate strife in the world. Around this point, C.C. was placed in charge of the Geass Order that was a secret organization that studied this ability and produced Geass users. At some unknown point, she was in China where she encountered an orphaned 6 year old boy named Mao that she took into her care. Mao was given the power of Geass and came to love C.C. though this turned into an obsession where he wanted to control her forcing her to leave him one day. Afterwards, Marianne was declared dead following an assassination and C.C. left the Geass Order which led to V.V. taking over its operations. Following that point, she was captured by Clovis la Britannia who took an interest in the girl's immortality and intended to take her to Pendragon with her being put into a machine to contain her during transit through Japan that was now part of the Holy Britannian Empire that designated it Area 11.

She eventually tracked Lelouch to his home where she began secretky living in the residence whilst she evaded capture from Britannian fodces. During this time, she revealed the nature of her contract with him but not the terms which was why she kept close to Lelouch. In this time, she learnt of his desire to defeat Britannia and take revenge agaibst his father Emperor Charles. Lelouch later moved to free his close friend Suzaku Kururugi from execution with C.C. attempting to stop him by shooting his leg but Lelouch revealed he would rather die than live the life of a civilian again. As such, C.C. had no choice but to allow Lelouch to continue being the leader of the secret resistance against Britannia in his guise as Zero. When Viceroy Cornelia li Britannia took charge of Area 11, Lelouch once more embarked on his plan against the royal family by killing her. However, Cornelia was prepared for his plans and decimated his forces. She nearly succeeded in capturing Lelouch until C.C. disguised as Zero arrived on the scene providing a distraction allowing Lamperouge to escape.

With Zero trapped, C.C. moved to protect him where she used her powers to cause Suzaku to experience his own traumatic memory of killing his father. This left Kururugi trapped in his own mind whilst C.C. maintained physical contact with his Knightmare Frame. She urged Zero to escape but he refused to leave her and touched her shoulder causing him to enter her memories. As a result, C.C. lost control of Suzaku who went berserk as he fought against his own traumatic memory. To protect Lelouch, C.C. shielded him as debris pierced her body and he took her body to escape. At a cave, he treated her whilst she was unconcious and heard her speak her own name in her sleep. When she awoke, Lelouch spoke her name which made C.C. unhappy but he thanked her for saving his life but stated he would not repeat this again. C.C. grew overwhelmed by the gesture as no one had ever thanked her before and asked Lelouch to say her name again just that once. Lelouch did so but C.C. stated his pronunciation was wrong and he did not say it with love or kindness. Despite that, she was happy and stated that this was the reason why she went by C.C.

C.C. did demonstrate a playful teasing streak such as when Li Xingke thought that she was Zero. Rather than tell the truth, she simply confirmed his statement and when Kallen revealed that it was a lie C.C. commented that Kozuki had ruined the fun. On another occasion, she called Lelouch a sore loser for failing in his first engagement against Cornelia. At one point, she asked Lelouch why snow was white and answered by saying it was because it had forgotten it's colour.

In reality, she had a nihilistic outlook of the world with her being scornful of her own immortality that had left her feeling lonely and isolated.

She once told Lelouch that if there was anyone he did not want to lose then he should keep them at a distance. The reasoning being that the life he led as Zero was dangerous and those he kept in hus life shared the danger as well as potential to die. When Lelouch asked if she learnt from experience, C.C. said no but rather it was a way of life. She was well aware of the fact that Geass users that could not control their powers became consumed by it. Despite that being the case, she offered Geass contracts to mortals with Lelouch calling her a cruel girl for engaging in such a practice.

With Lelouch, C.C. had a close relationship based on the nature of the contract between them. She believed she had chosen to give Geass to an interesting person. Due to the contract, she felt linked to Lelouch and she stated that his survival was important to her as he was needed to fulfill the terms of the contract. It was for this reason that she threatened to shot to injury Lelouch in order to prevent him from going into battle. C.C. stated that she would do everything in her power to protect him but she was not his guardian. Such was the extent of her desire to ensure his survival that she involved herself in his schemes such as when she dressed up as Zero in order to allow Lelouch an opportunity to escape Cornelia's forces. The bond between the two grew stronger when Lelouch helped her after she was injured and when she was unconscious she spoke her name. Lelouch proved to be the only person that knew her actual name though she stated he could not pronounce it correctly nor spoke it with love or affection which was why she preferred C.C. Furthermore, she considered herself an accomplice to Lelouch that she gladly accepted especially after he offered a contract to her to fulfill her desires.

Biography

C.C.

C.C. (Japanese: シー・ツー, Hepburn: Shī Tsū) was born long ago at an unspecified as a human where she had an ordinary human name though much of her early history was not known.

C.C. with Lelouch.

She eventually tracked Lelouch to his home where she began secretly living in the residence whilst she evaded capture from Britannian fodces.

Powers and abilities

C.C. in the Thought Elevator.

Originally, C.C. was a simple ordinary human with no special skills or powers who lived the life of a slave girl.

This changed when she encountered the immortal nun that gave her the power of Geass. Her Geass power manifested in inspiring feelings of love in others for her causing them to feel absolute adoration for C.C. and desire to shower her with gifts. Eventually, this power evolved causing both her eyes to manifest the Geass ability that was regularly active. At the height of her ability, she gained the power to take the immortality of the person who granted her Geass turning C.C. into an immortal. As an immortal, she gained a new set of powers one of which was she was an immortal allowing her to live for centuries and remain as a young teenager. At this point, she could be fatally shot or caught in an explosion and though she experienced the pain she managed to recover from these wounds in a short span of time.

A further power was the ability to grant Geass onto others. She did this by making contracts with select people with these individuals being required to fulfill her wish when the time came for it. Similar to her earlier self, Geass users were give unique abilities such as Mao who gained telepathy or Lelouch who could compel others to follow his commands. However, the Geass could not work on C.C. making her immune to their powers. Despite this being the case, as an immortal she lost the power to use Geass itself on others.
