Biography
Whilst studying her Ph.D. she was part of a research group where her Professor claimed that she could never achieve her degree with her nearly deciding to quit her studies. At the time, the group attended a symposium at Metropolis where she managed to see Superman for the first time. Seeing a man that could fly gave her courage to continue with her studies in college. - The Caitlin Snow incarnation of Killer Frost was created by Dan Jurgens in the Fury of Firestorm: The Nuclear Men v1 #19 (June 2013) but the original character of Killer Frost was developed by Gerry Conway and Al Milgrom.

- In Arrow, the character of Caitlin Snow made her first live-action debut where she first appeared in the episode "The Man Under the Hood" and was portrayed by actor Danielle Panabaker.
- In The Flash series, the character of Caitlin Snow appeared as a regular member of the cast in the 2014 live-action television series where she was once again portrayed by Danielle Panabaker. Her mother was revealed to be Dr. Carla Tannhauser who was a scientist that specialised in biology and was also the CEO head of Tannhauser Industries.
