• Code Red was created by Jeph Loeb and Ian Churchill whete they made their first appearance in Hulk v2 #14 (October, 2009).
• Many of the team members were shared by the fourth incarnation of the Thunderbolts that were also formed by the Red Hulk.

Television

• In The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Code Red appeared in the animated television series in the episode "Nightmare in Red". They were a group of superhuman government operatives that were formed under the command of Secretary of Defense Dell Rusk.
