- Copycat was created by Fabian Nicieza and Greg Capullo where she made her first appearance in X-Force v1 #19 (February, 1993).
- Her character was retconned into taking the identity of Domino in New Mutants v1 #98 (February, 1991) before revealing her true identity in X-Force.
