Dog Man

The Dog Man was one of Dr. Moreau's creations, a friendly Beast Person created from a St. Bernard. After Moreau's death and the regression of the Beast People into lawlessness, the Dog Man was the only Beast Man who continued to believe Edward Prendick's assertion that Moreau's spirit still watched over his creations and knew what they said and did. He thus stayed by Prendick's side. Even after he, like the other Beast People, regressed mentally, his canine mind made him continue to be loyal to Prendick much like a faithful dog. He was ultimately slain by the Hyena-Swine.
