Dr. Wilson was colleague of Dr. Jordan who worked at the museum in Metropolis. Wilson did not believe that Jane Hogan had killed his associate. He told Clark Kent as much when he invited the reporter down to the museum to discuss it, and put forth his theory that Jordan fell victim to the ancient curse of King Tushh. He turned out to be somewhat correct, too. When the mummified guards of King Tushh were reanimated by the Fluid of Life, they attacked Wilson, but Superman was able to stop them and save the archaeologist.
