Biography
Sooraya Qadir
After the X-Men vanished, Sooraya was present during a march made against Mutants after the unveiling of a vaccine that cured the X-Gene. She was part of a gathering that opposed the anti-Mutant protestors that had gathered outside the Worthington Industries. The crowd grew increasingly hostile and without any police she began to use her powers to form a dust cloud around the protestors. This was interrupted by the Champions who responded to the hostilities where they attempted to help maintain the peace from the protestors that began to lash out at anyone perceived to be a Mutant. - Dust was created by Grant Morrison, Frank Quitely and Ethan Van Sciver where she made her first appearance in New X-Men v1 #133 (December, 2002).

- In Wolverine and the X-Men, Dust made her first appearance in the animated television series starting in the episode "Hindsight Pt. 1" and was voiced by actor Tara Strong.
