Electromagnetic Pulse Bomb (RoboCop)

An Electromagnetic Pulse Bomb are devices that feature in RoboCop: The Animated Series.

History

The EMP bomb was a type of weapon developed by a scientist in Detriot city. The Brotherhood employed these bombs for their own use in destroying the reputation of machines in the city.

Overview

This device was spherical and ball shaped in design as well as generated a powerful electromagnetic field. The EMP generated by these bombs were strong enough to affect advanced robotics which turned them rogue as well as hostile. Whilst the normal version of the device was portable enough to be placed in a persons hand, a larger version was a sphere suspended on a large tripod which generated an EMP field strong enough to affect a much larger area such as a city.
