Biography

Eliphas was a male human Roman who was born thousands of years ago. Two thousand years ago, he was a promising soldier of Rome before being injured in battle whereupon he sought a life as a poet. During this time, he met Aurelia who was influential and became his wife where she granted him a seat in the Senate. Thus, he became a member of the elite where he was a high-ranking politician in Rome who was respected by the military and wealthy beyond measure. However, Eliphas was simply a puppet for Aurelia who used him to sell his seat to a high ranking general named Mascius who she was having an affair with at the time. This resulted in Eliphas being forced out from his wife's home with only two ruby earrings in his hands that he was tasked with polishing which he gave to a slave girl named Claudia. Thus, Eliphas had nothing as his life was a sham and he wandered the city when he heard his name being called out by a voice. The figure turned out to be Selene who was an immortal Mutant who was seeking a servant to aid her in her plans. (X-Force v3 #11)
