Biography
Emperor Gruumm was a male extraterrestrial humanoid who at sometime came into the service of Omni that was a large disembodied brain. He looked to create a body for his master where he became the apparent leader of the Troobian empire that pillaged worlds for this task.
At some point, he launched an attack on the planet Sirius whose natives fell before the army of Krybots headed by General Benaag. In the battle, Grumm took to the battlefield himself and encountered Anubis Cruger where he came to lose his right horn to his opponent. This enraged Emperor Grumm who left Doggie Cruger to die and captured his wife Isinia Cruger who was thought to had been killed in the battle alongside the other Sirians.

Personality and attributes
He was noted for his deep enmity against Anubis Cruger that resulted after a battle the two fought on Sirius. This confrontation resulted in Grumm losing his right horn and he swore to get his revenge against Doggie.
Powers and abilities
Such was his strength that he was easily able to take down six Rangers with just his hands and staff whilst also being able to block the Shadow Saber with his bare hands.
Emperor Gruumm has two aides, Mora and Bloodwing. Mora is a 10 year old girl who is pure evil and can create real monsters with her mind. Bloodwing is a Troobian creature who survives in an artificial environment. He is the general of Gruumm's army of Krybots, the mindless soldiers of Gruumm.
He was the seeming leader of the Troobians that were a galactic empire that ravaged worlds for resources. Chief among his minions were the Krybots that were robotic drones deployed in large numbers against his enemies.
Notes
- Emperor Gruumm was portrayed by actor Rene Naufahu in the setting of Power Rangers S.P.D..
- The character was an original creation of the television series with no Super Sentai counterpart where instead the main villain of Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger was Rainian Agent Abrella.
- In an interview on RangerCast, co-producer Greg Aronowitz noted on the character, "Gruumm has always been Omni's puppet... [Gruumm] has power, but he has issues and he has weakness, and Omni has taken advantage of that for as long as time can remember."

- In Power Rangers: Super Legends, Emperor Grumm appeared as the main antagonist in the setting of the Nintendo DS version of the video game. He was shown to had been in search for the mythical Hall of Legends that was a resting place that contained the collected energies of the Power Rangers from across time with the goal of claiming the power to become a living god.
