Enterrans

The Enterrans were a genetic offshoot of Humanity that feature in the anime Shinzo.

Background

The Enterrans were a genetically engineered race created five hundred years before the start of Shinzo who were a enhanced with DNA from both Humans and animals in order to combat a virus that was wiping out the Human race. However, the Enterran race would become evil shortly after their creation with seven great generals waging a war that Humanity lost. After their victory, the Enterrans would rename the Earth as Enterra.

A small number of Enterrans possessed the power to become Hyper Enterrans which were vastly superior to a normal member of their kind. Due to the range of animal DNA involved in their creation, the Enterrans were divided into numerous subraces whose appearances varied among reptilians, insects and other animals of the world.
