Biography

Jaycen was a male human who was a descendant of the Inhumans.

As a young boy, he came to be adopted by a different community of Inhuman descendants that came to reside in Minnesota where he was taken in by a white man named Martin and his wife. They named the boy Jason and raised him as their son though tensions always arose between the child and his adoptive father. (Inhuman v1 #5)

One day, Attilan came to be destroyed after the detonation of a Terrigen Bomb sending a cloud of the mutagenic material into the sky. Upon seeing this, the Inhuman descendants in Minnesota sought to flee from it with Martin wanting Jason to pack up in the middle of the night to leave the area. They were on the bus as the cloud reached the city but despite their efforts they were unable to escape from it. Thus, the bus stopped and the people inside decided to confront the cloud where they were all encased in cocoons. Only Flint came to emerge where he gained powers as a result but everyone else died within their respective cocoons. He was then found by Lash who deemed him worthy of living and took him to the hidden Inhuman city of Orollan. (Inhuman v1 #5)

This was in order to help repopulate it and introduced him to Grove, Kacy, and Mother Bones. When Orollan was attacked by Queen Medusa, Inferno, and the Inhuman Royal Guard. Jaycen's powers manifested where he made the rocks float and knocked Gorgon off balance. When Medusa defeated Lash, Jaycen asked her if he can join up with her. She accepts and he goes with her to New Atillan where he takes up the name Flint. (Inhuman v1 #3)

Sometime later, Iso discovered the blueprints for a portal and "fixed" the device with the help of Flint. They discovered that the portal device was previously used by the Inhuman King Kalden 2,000 years ago where he banished Gordon and Snarkle to another dimension for an unspecified crime. When Snarkle grabbed Flint, he ordered Gordon to grab Iso only for Gordon to remain in that dimension. Iso and Flint defeated Snarkle where they have him remanded to the dungeon.

With help from Ana Kravinoff and Gorgon, Flint traveled to Mozambique where the Inhuman city of Utolan is located and the sight of his birth home. He meets his biological mother Irellis and his older sister Ikelli.
