History
The Forgiven were a group of vampires that were brought together by Raizo Kodo.
They later received a vision from a Moksha Sect seer that spoke of the pool of penance that cleansed each of the Forgiven being targeted by the Red Hulk. Thus, they moved to stop the monster thinking it was his goal but came to realise that he simply wanted to purge spirits that were haunting him. After seeing this, Raizo Kodo apologised and stated that if he ever required their aid then he could call upon the Forgiven's help in the future. (Hulk v2 #51)
