History

Origin

The Fourth Reich were a team of supervillains that aligned with the ideology of the Nazi's with them consisting of Baroness Blitzkrieg, Captain Nazi, White Dragon, Hunter, Shadow of War, Green Ghoul, Count Berlin, Captain Swastika, Doctor Demon, Baron Gestapo, and Captain Murder.

Under the secret control of Vandal Savage, the Fourth Reich were dispatched to eliminate the bloodlines of Golden Age members of the Justice Society. They struck the Heywood family in order to exterminate the bloodline of Commander Steel leading to Nathan Heywood being left the only survivor. (Justice Society of America v3 #3) They later divided into different into different groups to kill other families with this bringing them into conflict with the Justice Society of America. (Justice Society of America v3 #4)

With the Darkness Engine, they intended to depower all opposition and take over the planet. (Justice Society of America v3 #37) This led to Baroness Blitzkrieg attacking Jessie Quick whilst the rest of the Fourth Reich attacked the Justice Society at their headquarters in the Secret Sanctuary. (Justice Society of America v3 #36) With this, the Fourth Reich along with anyone supporting their cause nearly conquer the world within twenty years. (Justice Society of America v3 #38) By this time the establish Nazi Fourth Reich was rule by Jeremy Karne as Führer, who was responsible for imprisoning Obsidian. However, Mr. Terrific led a revolt against the Nazi in order for him to get to the Darkness Engine and shut it down. However, he instead decided to make a call to his past self and intervene The Fourth Reich's plan from the beginning. (Justice Society of America v3 #39) Once Obsidian was freed, the Justice Society came to defeat the Fourth Reich who were arrested and its members facing trial for their actions. (Justice Society of America v3 #40)

Post-Flashpoint

Following the Flashpoint, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events. The Fourth Reich operated secretly in the world where they came to develop the Darkness Engine from their secret base in Linden, Pennsylvania. Their activities were discovered by the newly established Stormwatch who were sent into the field and brutally killed the Nazi supervillains. After being eliminated, the Darkness Engine was taken into custody by Mister Bones's Stormwatch team that were a government affiliated team of superhumans that had formed in the wake of the disbanding of the Justice League.   • Baroness Blitzkrieg : a masked yellow suited female who had the power of super-speed. (Justice Society of America v3 #3) It was noted that she was a bit faster than Jessie Quick though not as strong. (Justice Society of America v3 #36)
  • Reichsmark : a bald headed male with metallic skin whose touch could turn others into a metallic statue. (Justice Society of America v3 #2)

  • Count Berlin : a bald headed male who was seemingly a vampire. (Justice Society of America v3 #36)
