- Francis Fanny was created by Joe Kelly and Walter McDaniel where he made his first appearance in Deadpool v1 #14 (March, 1998).

Films
- In Deadpool, Francis as Ajax appeared in the setting of the live-action film where he was portrayed by actor Ed Skrein. He was a former patient at an underground facility that performed experiments on people to trigger Mutant genes so that they could be sold as superhuman slaves. In this role, he was the scientist responsible for receiving and torturing Wade Wilson when he was brought to the laboratory.
