Gieves

Gieves was the military officer in charge of the radio station on the Island. He and Pearce went to greet Sir James Murray when he arrived by helicopter. En route back to the radio station they picked up Richard Callum, his wife Frankie and Patricia Wells and their Land Rover broke down. Gieves accompanied Sir James to try and make it to the radio station to warn the outside world of the invasion of the spider aliens.
