Gorgon is a male comic character that features in Marvel Comics.

Biography

At some point, he had a daughter who was known as Alecto. (Marvel Knights v4 #20) He later had another son named Petras Petragon that was his daughters half-brother. (All-New Inhumans v1 #11)

Personality and attributes

He was noted for his talent as a hunter and being able to track people. (Marvel Knights v4 #19)

A saying he was fond of telling was, "Straighten up and fly right." (Marvel Knights v4 #19)

Powers and abilities

Gorgon was noted to weigh around 600 pounds. (Marvel Knights v4 #19)

  • Gorgon was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby where he made his first appearance in Fantastic Four v1 #44 (November, 1965).

  • In Fantastic Four, Gorgon appeared in the 1994 animated television series where he was voiced by actor Michael Dorn.
  • In Inhumans, Gorgon appeared in the live-action television series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe where he was portrayed by actor Eme Ikwuakor. This version was a black male who resided on Attilan on the Moon where he was part of the Royal Family and head of the Royal Guard under King Black Bolt.

Video games

  • In Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Gorgon appeared in the video game where he was voiced by actor Greg Eagles.
