Hagiwara

Hagiwara was a reporter who was sent to Ohto Island by helicopter, to investigate the islanders' claims of a sea monster. Later, he accompanied Dr. Yamane and his party to the island a second time, where they saw Godzilla. He also tried to interview Dr. Serizawa, but did so unsuccessfully.
