History

The Hall of Armor was a headquarters established by Tony Stark where he forged and kept his various sets of Iron Man Armor. (Iron Man v1 #118)

During Thanos's attack on Earth, Spymaster came to assemble a group of super-criminals who were to help him break into the Hall and steal various sets of Iron Man Armor. The intention was to break in whilst Tony Stark was distracted whereupon they would sell the armors and become rich in the process. (Infinity: Heist v1 #3)

Overview

In appearance, the Hall of Armor was a private sub-basement laboratory that was surrounded by electric forges that were used to create experimental prototypes. (Iron Man v1 #118)

Television

  • In Iron Man, the Hall of Armor appeared in the setting of the 1990s animated television series.
  • In Avengers Assemble, the Hall of Armor made an appearance in a number of episodes but was named in "Avengers Disassembled". It was situated in Stark Tower during the time when Ultron came active and started attacking sources of advanced technology that included assembling a robot army. This saw him target S.H.I.E.l.D. Life Model Decoys that accompanied Captain America where he made them extensions of his will. Upon seeing this, Tony Stark decided to set a trap for Ultron by seemingly lowering the defenses of the Hall of Armor allowing for easy access. Ultron was apparently captured in the act but this was actually a Life Model Decoy with the real Ultron taking over Stark Tower's systems. Once done, he had its defenses turned on the Avengers and took over the various Iron Man Armors in the Hall that battled the heroes. To stop Ultron, Stark initiated the Last Protocol that destroyed all of his technology in the Stark network except for the Iron Man Armor he was wearing at the time.
