Harry Leland is a male comic supervillain that features in Marvel Comics.

Biography

During one party he attended, he met a young sixteen year old Emma Frost who had recently been disinherited that made her homeless. She had arrived at the Club in order to use her newly discovered telepathic powers to get information about stocks. During this time, he met her and took an interest in the young Emma but came on too strongly leading to her running away. Whilst saying goodbyes to people, he accompanied Sean Cassidy and his NYPD partner at an incident behind the Club where Emma had been abducted. During this time, Cassidy along with his partner were present with the Dark Beast and Leland when Frost used her powers to mind-wipe all three men into forgetting the incident or that they had ever met.   • Harry Leland was created by Chris Claremont and John Byrne where he made his first appearance in Uncanny X-Men v1 #132 (April, 1980).

  • In X-Men, Harry Leland appeared as an antagonist in the 1990s animated series in the episode "Dark Phoenix Saga". He was shown as a member of the Circle Club and fought against the X-Men when they sought to reclaim Jean Grey after she was brainwashed by Mastermind.
