Through his influence, the stoneship was able to escape with the survivors where he decided on his fate as the Sakaarson. He vowed revenge against the World Devourer and demonstrated his power to his people as he took the role of the prophecised saviour as well as their leader. Under his command, they set course for the planet '''Giausar''' that was a former colony of the Shadow People that they abandoned due to the brutality of its natives though Hiro-Kala intended to ensure that they would worship him as a god. Hiro-Kala was the male son of the Hulk and Caiera the Oldstrong where he was the twin brother of Skaar with the pair being born on Sakaar. Whilst within his mothers womb, a great cataclysm came to his world which killed his mother and separated the twins who survived due to their unique biology. (Incredible Hulks v1 #612)
