Origin

Jack Sparrow was a male human who was born as the son of the infamous pirate lord Edward Teague and an unknown woman.

At some point, he met Angelica Teach who was about to take a vow of celibacy at a Spanish convent when she fell in love with Jack. The two later split with Angelica blaming Jack for corrupting her whilst Sparrow claimed that Teach was hardly innocent to begin with.

He later came to command the Black Pearl and recruited a crew at Tortuga. Among those recruited was Hector Barbossa who Jack named as his First Mate.
