Jackal (Gargoyles)
(1968 - ?) Sadistic member of the mercenary team known as the Pack. Twin brother of Hyena, the two together battled the Manhattan Clan on several occasions. After one particularly brutal defeat, they both agreed to undergo an "upgrade" provided by Xanatos Enterprises, becoming cyborgs. Despite their increased power, they were defeated by the gargoyles further times, even after they split from the Pack to become independent mercenaries.
Jackal's defining moment was when he briefly became the avatar of Anubis and attempted to purge the Earth of all life. Fortunatly, he was defeated by Goliath, Angela and the Emir.
Greg Weisman's Master Plan
Jackal would have eventually rescued Hyena from prison, and the two of them would have been recruited by Coyote 6.0 when the robot formed the Ultra Pack, and undergone a new upgrade.
The Goliath Chronicles
In the Goliath Chronicles, they helped in a Quarrymen plot to discredit gargoyles using Broadway.
